Does this make you angry too???

So what's wrong with climbing over/under it???? Like i said the reason why people blow today at mtb'n is because of re-routes.....And you are aware why the parks are closed correct?? Because of crap like this and other reason as well of course...

This has been an issue for a long time- I don't agree that they should not be on Mountian Bikes but they should get off and walk if they won't attempt to ride it. This is not evolution but rather destruction of the work that people do.

We are talking about re routes- Manny...yeah you- if no one on this site will call you out I will- There is no reason you should be out there making reroutes at Ramapo. And what's worse is that you think that you are clearing trails is even worse- if you're going to ride before TM can get there you better be hopping trees and not making new reroutes...shamefull...

Its always the people who do the least that complain the most.

If you have been seeing this going on for a while, why haven't you done anything to make the situation better. ranting about it after the fact is as worthless as pocket lint. And if your upset about how the trails are being fixed then grab a saw or axe and come out and help. the more people and tools out there the better we can remove the big blow downs. then there would be no need for reroutes

In the short time I have been on this site I can bet my rent money that Manny has done more for MTB'ers/MTBing in the state/community then most people on this thread has, so if your not out there busting you ass to make these trails ridable, like he has, then you have no right to call anyone out.

this post is simply not fair to the people who have worked hard, volunteering their time so you, me and everyone can get out and ride

so if your upset about trails etc.. don't just sit by a computer and come up with ideas to divide this community. get of your ASS and put your ideas and energy forward and help to make it better

Andrew I really appreciate the support and totally get your point. However, I need to correct you on one point. That is many on here have done more than I could ever possibly dream of doing. The fact is I've learned how to give back because of many on here.

All of you are correct and i want to apologize for how i worded this topic. All that have thrown their views on this all have great points besides a few. But i again apologize and will go back and correct how i worded this and insulted some on this topic. I went too far and was hungover for the last three days celebrating my girlfriends b-day. So i hope you people except my apologies. LIONG71ER, I have no problem seeting up some rides such as you mentioned. I have done many of them before, and some with TimmyD of course. You can send me messages when you planning them and if i have the time that someone has mentioned you have then i would love to do them with you. ..

you must have posted this while i was typing my reply rant and I didn't see it. Didn't mean to beat the dead horse on you. just saying you will do more good getting more involved, and not to mention having a little flexibility

i take my hat off to you gingertooth!
it's takes courage and dignity to apologizing
and i want to apologize to you too..for trying to teaching you lesson (somehow folks misunderstood my comments) nothing personal.

anyway..
we all make mistake sometimes in our life and so was i.

(and please don't take this for another promoting) :-(

Its nice to see we can all get along 🙂

This has been a super stressful month for everyone.

These issues are all pretty petty as compared with the total losses some of our friends have taken.

The entitlement level can easily get out of hand. Give it a few weeks. The people doing the grunt work to bring the trails back to normal are balancing a lot of projects at once. Park approvals, liability, new babys.. etc.

Things will get better.

You can imagine how fun it is for me when the most common phone call I get at work is " when are you going to get the trails open".

(btw.. Liong is the nicest guy ever, it takes al ot to ruffle his feathers)

AJB, I do want you to know that i have put a ton of time into trail maintenence. I have even built trails you may have most likely ridden many times. But what really sucks is when you try to keep the original trail there and in return for some strange reason someone has to remove the objects placed there for that reason. But i guess i need to learn to live with it.

AGAIN, i hope people except my apologies for acting foolishly to this subject.... The ORIGNAL THREAD HAS BEEN REWORDED''''''

Rode from Pompton last night. have to say Manny did some noble work. Pretty much a clear path up to skyline and down yellow. The Go around are 100 percent necessary.
