Does this make you angry too???

was the hurricane bad down by you guys? the photos from AC are painful yo.

Rode the AC Boardwalk the other day and the North end (inlet) of the Bwalk is completly gone. the sand is now about 4 to 8 feet higher in areas on the beach. The shore got hit pretty bad..being 20 miles off shore things aren't as severe. Some trees down and the power was out for a few days..but overall not to bad. Talked to a friend today who explained to me that Central and North Jersey got it the worst..since you guys got the surge.

its amazing how 20-25 miles north of where i am, nothing really happened in the woods. at jungle only 2-3 trees fell on trails (well most of the trails) while places like chimney rock and six mile were annihilated.

one things for sure, everyone needs to invest in a crank radio:

LOL..crank radio...yes agreed eveyone should have one🙂 Yes Estell Manor Park's North end is still closed to everyone. It was hit hard from the wind storm we had in July..Sandy on added the iceing to the cake...I'm sure Ken Seebeck and JORBA will get it all worked out before spring to have it opened up once again...I look forward to it 🙂...I just posted something about Jungle...I'd really like to ride it one day?

This may have been the case. According to the sawyer that came down red, no log overs that have been there for 5 years were removed. They cleared trees blocking the trail. If a cut is made in a log, where the log can be ridden, the ride over is always left so that those that like to ride over can. If a log is more than 2 feet high, and is close to neighborhoods, sometimes a small go around is cut for hikers and dog walkers. There have been a ton of people in there with chain saws that are not part of Jorba.

Agreed. I know of several log overs in various parks taken out by the horseback riding community...what can you do? We all have to share. Trails get easy, just ride faster.

I have to admit...the quote "whoever said nothing is impossable hasn't tried to staple water to a tree" is pretty funny....Nonetheless, I have to remind those that "With God all things are possable" Mathew~ 26:19

But could god make a bucket of water so wet that even he couldn't staple it to a tree?

Fuck, I misssed this one. If anyone is intested I'm sponsoring a lumberjack competition this weekend in 7 state parks. The event is not sanctioned by anyone except smirnoff and marlboro. No chainsaws larger than 1000cc and helmets are optional. Additionally, roadies suck and 29ers are like crutches for cripples. Carry on.
