Conditions?

Oh yeah???? Did you take pics?

Can't wait to check it out! No more wet shoes, dried out BBs/hubs and most importantly, hitting the hidden under water rocks and getting soaked!

Oh man, i thought this was going to be handled during a TM session, i wanted to be part of the historic event. i hope i can get there soon to check it out!

yea, and pics or it never happened!!!

Same here. I was looking forward to having the privilege of putting the bridge and being the first one to RIDE over it. Bragging rights taken away from us.

You will still have the option. If you are going back toward 27, you would make a 90* turn abut 100ft before the old crossing to hit the bridge. Going toward the canal, you would take the blue trail at the split and then fork off to the left to hit the bridge.

Yeah the bridge is in place a little bit downstream from the current crossing (which can still be ridden). There's caution tape across it so i guess it's not officially open yet. Looks like more bulldozing was required to get it in place. The hill is gonna need some major TLC once we know the park people are finally done driving their tanks around the woods. Trails were amazing today. I got out just before the monsoon hit.

6-23

How much rain came down and for how long? Capers, Pearl and I are gonna ride there tomorrow @ 6pm so with the heat and no more rain guessing it should be fine. BTW anyone can come but its gonna be one of those rides where we don't wait for each other (unless our friend Mandi comes then we'll play nice) those 2 make me look like I'm standing still when we hit the twisty section

Dustin, as much as I'd like to lay some serious tire down and smoke you, we just got in from 12 hours of sitting in the car.

I will say, right now, We're out. The rest of the day is up the air and the mood may change. I need a seat post clamp because this one is sucking. I will keep you posted. It seemed dry around these parts but I don't know if it poured earlier or not.

The rain was relatively light and lasted only 60-90 minutes. It may have poured but only for a couple minutes. Trails will be fine by the time you are riding.

Thank you. We got hit here in South Amboy but it looked hard and fast on the way home from Allaire it was a light rain.

It was so dry out there this afternoon that even if it rained an inch, the trails would be just slightly tacky tomorrow night.

Sorry that you won't be able to join us Pearl. Looks like it will be another one of those days where Dusty and I just try and kill each other.

I was there at 6am. the conditions were worse than I expected but not that bad... I guess it will be ok tonight and perfect tomorrow

I saw the bridge. the location was chosen rationality, both ends lean against big trees so flood cannot move the bridge.
