Conditions?

Conditions were great yesterday... The little hill going down to the water crossing has been cleared for the new bridge... Going thru it is like cutting thru a construction zones backfill minus the debris... It was complete overkill by any trail users standards... Maybe they are going to bring the bridge down sideways😕... After all there is now 20-30 feet of clearing for it to get down to the stream

I saw that. It was a sad sight. All that work on the trail and drain for nothing.

Be careful what you wish for🙁

Getting through that bit of water, any season during the year added to the expierence. Just my .02

With the way that brush grow at six mile, if we keep getting rain, that area will be covered by the end of August.
Yes, nature will reclaim the space pretty quickly if left alone to do so.

I've mentioned it recently, but the poison ivy at 6 Mile, especially in the twisties, is freaking me out this year. Some of that shit looks like stuff from a science fiction movie.

no kidding! even with the warm temps we are in, i have been wearing long sleeve shirts when i'm at 6 mile no matter what the temp. two years ago i clipped a tree with a handlebar in the twisties and took a dive, landing on my forearm. i had a real bad case of PI from that, so when the leaves are out, i hide my arms now.

I rub down the arms and legs pre ride with tecnu... Those aren't the directions but niether are running Maxxis Ignitors tubeless

maybe there can be some space to the side of the bridge that gives the option to go across the water

Dude, I've gotten poison ivy twice from 6MR this year! once a month ago, and now i got some from last friday! I guess i need to stop wiping out... 😡

No kidding, it reminds me of Little Shop of Horrors...

I am doing everything i can not to wear sleeves and pants...it's just too hot out...especially this weekend. i wont be able to cover up. But i totally hear what you mean, i've definitely considered it...

Conditions were perfect yesterday. Some wet spots.
Unfortunately, a wet root got the better of me and caused me to crash into a tree. Broke my collar bone, and destroyed my shoulder which requires a few screws and a ti plate... oh well, there goes my season.
