Murderface!!

Yes, it looks like Norm was right 🙂

I took 1st in NJ, and fastest time overall. So the legacy continues, and the SSAP cup stays in NJ :getsome:

Real quick summary as the kids want to take me out to dinner. My brakes were shot on mile 10, and on mile 11 my left eggbeater broke. Mile 13 I think my front wheel almost came off. Aside from that, my legs felt great, and all was good.

Congrats to the team and all the peeps on this board that survived this mud-fest!

18th with a chain that was hanging on by half a link. I think this was the *crunch crunch crunch* I heard as we made the right into the 1st stretch of ST on the 1st lap. Capers has a picture

Thanks To darkhorse for putting on such a great race! More than worth the 4 hr drive! Awesome job out there everyone as well!

So last year 22nd place, this year 6th, next year I smell podium 😉

OK, since only the fast guys are posting, I'll change the tempo

Darkhorse puts on a great race and had the conditions been dry, the course would have been insanely fast. I had a very good first lap but suffered on the second with my exercise induced asthma (at least that's the best excuse I could come up with). I ended up 30th in the Sport class which put me pretty much dead middle of those who started.

Darkhorse throws it down like no other, Thank you. I was on pace for a good race sitting around 10th in the first lap then pffff Fuckk! I was really holding back for the second lap to murder, the flat was a debacle as my funn bolts were so cranked down I bent the multi tool. After way too long to change my flat I rolled back at it only to be thrown a hammy cramp just before the factory that got me off the bike again on the second lap. Anywho thats enough excuses 29th and some cool swag at the giveaways...

Big congrats to all my MTB friends who really laid it down including my wife who I am so proud of, she is awesome!

Nice job Patty, knew you had nothing to worry about.

Had an awesome time in my first race, managed to come in 8th NJ sport somehow. <3 Darkhorse, great event. I didnt wash off after the event, apparently I had a little mud on me because my mom said it looked like I had blackface on when I walked in and proceeded to take my pic:

Goodjob everyone, see you next year.

nope, that thing is broken son! by the time i realized it was busted it was too late, no one else really passed me.

i kind of thought it might be .. the twist thing is just supposed to turn half way, not all the way around .. didn't occur to me till i left .. does this mean you're gonna share your prizes with me?

What an experience--My goal was just to finish and without injury.. That's a long ride and add the mud...very interesting. I was so tired by the second lap and really thought I was in last place. I had no idea. I was fooling around, talking to Homer Simson, and putting mud pies in his eyes...Towards the end, a girl who I knew was a ways behind me came up.. We chatted a bit on the road and she passed me... Big deal, lassssst place Ha Ha. When I got to the finish and heard 4th--I was shocked and happy. But then pissed at myself for not taking 3rd. Lesson Learned. Great day!!!

Congrats to the team and everyone else that raced!!

I raced Stewart in the mud last year, ugh, so I can't say I wish I was with you today. Way to go to all those that stuck it out!

This is awesome - you kicked ass today!

Great time today regardless of the wet and slop! I'm a racing noob. My goal was to finish mid pack, which I did (28 of 54)....And in Sh*t conditions.

Good to see every one and also meet a few new heads.
