he was the only one interested in fighting, im pretty sure the rest of us were just trying to hold back laughter so he wouldnt lash out physically
While I agree Americans in general have an entitlement problem, in my experience those who express those feelings are more often than not vehemently anti-communist/socialist. The more conservative they are, they more they only care about themselves.
I always have 2 pairs of 12 oz boxing gloves in my car for cross-training days. Anyone wants to go I'm game; they can have the gloves, I won't throw a punch.
In my very much earlier post, I alluded to the fact that, yes, there have been an increased number of less considerate people out there. Politically fueled? There are assholes on all sides.
I think its more a point of people reaching the end of their tether vs. over-saturation. Once the local non-riding population starts complaining, you've reached that point, and its hard to bring them back to your side.
Would PPV this.I always have 2 pairs of 12 oz boxing gloves in my car for cross-training days. Anyone wants to go I'm game; they can have the gloves, I won't throw a punch.

I would agree with this more if the locals who are complaining were the majority but i think in this case it gets a bit tricky. These 3 property owners out of many have allowed 10+ years of direct economic growth in their area by letting this bike park thrive, and in turn, many many other family businesses to thrive and open. I have never been there, but from what im reading, it seems the entire town was basically enjoying the benefits of the local attraction, kind of like mtn creek by us.
Now, these 3 people are going to potentially destroy the lively hood of hundreds of people. Is this really fair? Im surprised they arent being shunned out of the area for this.
On the other hand, no, i dont think they should ever be forced to do anything by anyone because it is their land. UNLESS of course they signed a contract. Thats what they should of done so no 1 or 3 people can ruin it for everyone in the community. Charge more, take a cut, deal with a couple douches. its just part of life.

I keep going back to this map - if this sticks this will decimate the whole park system. This would basically kill KT for the next few years to the point I'm not sure it could recover. This map is the meat of where 75% (or more) of the people ride. By doing this you cut 1 large trail system into 4 pieces, remove 4 of the best trails, and make people ride the road to connect them.
That will also make road issues exponentially worse.
Also on the map - there are 3 boxes which I assume translates to 3 landowners. The small one is a non-issue so you're probably dealing with 2 major land owners here. One thing that came to mind yesterday is the amount of press that dude Norman got for the Moose Haven trails. I mean he and his wife were in the video and they were almost touted as heros. Is it possible that the 2 people up there who own the red boxes were stung a bit by this? I mean, the guy who owns the parcel of land with the 3 Ts should probably have a statue erected in his honor.
Sorry but if I were told to F**k Off by someone while riding my horse on my land I would just put a fence around the property and be done with it. Or a machine gun nest. Or both.

I am wondering if anyone has been out to the trail system at Ascutney?.
