The section that you guys are talking about is in a flood plain. I was out there last spring and I saw the water line about head high after a spring flood.
I dragged those pallets out of the woods after the flood and I was surprised how long they held up.
That section will be a muddy mess in about 4 weeks.
There is little that anyone can do to prevent this.
Mud is OK. Really.
This is one of the few spots that things can really go wrong here. Imagine if we lost access to that cement bridge because that homeowner doesn't like you building something over there.
I am working with the Jorba dudes at making 6 mile something much much better than it is now.
Just keep in mind that with every move you make you are representing mt bikers as a whole.
You might never see the trail monks but I can assure you we are on the case.
