Friday late morning Lance and I were riding on red through the cedars before the new boardwalk (heading towards route 27). We heard this awful sound ...like a whaling cry...

As we were riding on the new boardwalk /bridge a pack of 5 or so howling beagles ran under us...and continued ...with no owner in sight.

Funny...but weird!

I have seen the beagles before too. I think there's a group that trains them there or something.

Around 3PM today I drove past the red trail near the Canal lot. Saw a guy riding out of the trail with his helmet hanging from his handlebars. I have no words.

There is a hunting club that has been running Beagles at Six Mile Run for many years. They're usually in the area near the Jaques Lane Lot. The dogs usually do one of two things when they see you... Completely ignore you, or cry and run away in fear.

Saw a mom and a young boy on the trail,she had no bike must have walked all the way.The lad was going up and down hills and ramps practicing.What a great mom! Oh yea the strange part I got a flat tire,pulled the thorn out and made the repair.Looking at the thorn I realized it was an animal"s claw.Now thats strange!
