Mob Wars on Facebook...

OK, then maybe you can answer this question for me. I deal with engineers on a regular basis, and do not understand why so many of them pronounce height, "heigth".

I've been working with engineers for 15 years and I've never heard that. You need to find yourself some smarter engineers.

Apparently, you are working with some that are even dumberer than the ones I deal with. 😉

Next Tip just discovered:
When on the HitList page, hit the attack button multiple times to fight the same person more than once. I just watched a co-worker do it. After he hit the attack button 4 times, the results read that he had fought the guy on the hitlist four times in a row.

In other attempts, when the guy was already dead, the next page stated that he was already dead the same number of times as you hit the Attack button.

Good tip Ben.

I think I've managed to get in 3 attacks on the hitlist people. Twice the guy hitlisted me.

My latest slight strategy move (not for Steve). When you attack a guy who is online, and you score the $70k, open a second browser to your bank and put the money in right away. ...

I tend to stay away from those who are curently online. You are much less likely to be retailiated against.

I'd be pretty pissed if I was in the middle of a property purchase and then found out that someone took my cash.

It's easy enough to find another target who is NOT online at that moment.

BTW: Current Mob count is 206. 😉

Have to keep it interesting my man! I occasionally attack people I have no business attacking.

I was doing exactly this today. And I go to the bank to deposit it all...

$100k - deposit

You don't have that much in the bank

Me...huh? Now it says $90k

$90 - deposit. It makes it in the bank. But then my health plummets to 0:

You died, losing 26 experience points

I was hit twice, losing about $9k each time before I got blasted.

I just bought the container yard and yacht. $6M and $4.5M respectively. It took me a lot of fighting to get that kind of scratch. I know Steve is at the level where he craps that kind of money but to me it's 2 full days of income at max output. When I go to buy something, I open the second window and get ready to buy. Then with the first window I take the cash out of the bank and switch over and hit buy before I can get hit.

That's why I mentioned to buy when you are Dead or in the Hospital. It sucks losing cash that way, especially when you are building your war chest.

I'm sitting on 4 large. 3.1 cash, .9 in the bank. Sold my planes and yacht. Hint: Do jobs that will get you tactical shotguns. You will need 12 of them for some big dollar jobs as you move up levels.

Level 123, on the cusp of 124. 332 strong and armed to the teeth.

Another hint: Bounty is a factor of 10 times the targets earnings per hour. So, if you see someone on the hitlist for 500,000,000, that means they are bringing in 50,000,000. There is a 15-20% premium on top of that when you put someone on the hitlist.

Good stuff Steve. Actually that's why I bothered with the container yard and yacht at all - because you mentioned tactical shotguns. Plus now I can bring in a lot more every day in jobs. Currently level 28 and I'm finding it a little harder to pick people off today than yesterday. It may be a bad day but I may need to slow down a bit and get more mob members (currently 74).

The higher you move up, the harder it is to nail people. It also becomes more expensive to heal yourself. I used to nail people at lower levels until they were dead or in the hospital. I found out the hard way that people don't like that so much 😉

Now I take one shot when I surf the fight list, sometimes two, when an attack generates a lot of experience points. I also stay away from people with low member counts, as they are the ones that usually hang at a level and cream whomever attacks them. God forbid if you kill one of them.

Another hint. If you have someone that is relentlessly killing or attacking you, it is usually better to lay low, as opposed to bouncing back quickly. People are impulsive, but have short-term memory. Also, there is a certain period of time after which they can not attack you again, just punch or hitlist you, I think it's a couple of hours.

Well, I made it to 124, and now is the time of day I usually have my date with RoosterROO. It usually goes something like this. I beat the shit out of him all day, and then rig his car. He comes to hitlist me, blows up, and then hitlists me. If I am lucky, I get to rig his ignition again, if not, he will hit me again around 1:00AM...

Good stuff Steve, keep it coming. So do you make most of your money now on real estate and jobs? At first it was jobs. Then it was fighting. But now it seems like jobs and real estate are going to be the longer term way to earn cash.

I'm thinking of laying low and just collecting money for a while to establish a better income stream and arm my mob members better, and of course add to my mob.

We prefer thongs.

Right now it looks like this:
City-
Income: $55,006,900, Upkeep: $8,007,200
Cash Flow: $46,999,700

The only job I do now -
Illegal Weapons Smuggling
Payout: $60,000,000 - $90,000,000
Experience: +70 (20%) Required:
Energy: 40 (use 1) (10)
I sold my planes and yacht to get the upkeep money back into cashflow, not becasue I need it, but it makes it that much more expensive for someone to hitlist me.

Big Bucks come from hits.

It costs me $300K to heal, and I go to hospital at 132. In a sense, the fight money funds that.

That is a good plan, Norm.

I pissed off a few tycoons today. Apparently cheap ones though because they just keep attacking me and punching me. I win every fight but they're ok with just attacking me into oblivion and then punching me for good measure. One of these guys may have been someone I hit 8 times in a row. As much as I want to get in a pissing match it seems futile, as they surely could hitlist me in a flash.

I picked a fight with the wrong dude. I attacked someone on the hitlist without looking at the bounty. Oooooppppps! It was about 900M.

Insuccesso:
Your mob fought with: 2 Grenade Launchers, 8 Double Barrel 45s, 1 Minigun, 8 Wesson PPCs, 159 Assault Rifles, 1 Pump-Action Shotgun, 20 Body Armors, 170 Bullet Proof Vests, 2 S.W.A.T. Bearcats, 3 Armored Trucks, 1 Armored Range Rover, 3 Mercedes W220s, 1 BMW 735, 157 Crown Vics

Jason The Don's mob fought with: 9 Tactical Shotguns, 688 CheyTac .408s, 697 Tactical Armors, 697 Turret-Armed Humvees

You lost the fight, taking 59 damage and dealing 0 damage to your enemy.

You went to the hospital. 🙁

Me too. I got a guy who just keeps pounding me every hour or 2. Figure he'll get his aggressions out then go away eventually. It's not costing me anything because I actually win the fights but lose Health.

I just got hitlisted again. No idea who this guy is but I'm starting to see Steve's point about people not being happy about this stuff once you get to these levels.

Either you're not working with enough different engineers, or you're not listening closely enough. Burns my ass whenever I hear it.

I was doing the same thing - and it was paying off. But then I just hit 2 guys, 3x each for $70K a pop (420K total take). Like Ben said, it felt like I won the lottery. Looks like I'm just getting into the arena where fights really pay off - I am a few leagues below Norm, and in a completely different sport than Shaggz. Ben's fight tip is definitely on the money - I had just employed it prematurely (I also found out, from the help file, of all places, that mob size is given more weight as level increases - this explains some of my early frustrations).

You guys need to get matching hats.

To your sig:
"Nice beaver!" "Thanks, I just had it stuffed."
"Hey everyone look, its Enrico Pallazo!!!"

Yeah, it kinda stopped paying off today. It's kind of cool, because it makes you adjust a bit and the game changes again. It seems like you have to go through different stages. Remember that at my level now my jobs are sometimes paying off at a clip of $450k-$900k.

I can still hit weaker mobs, but they tend to be loaded and they will make you pay for it in a blink of the eye. Like Steve says, it's not going to get you anything to retaliate. I may be stronger but he effectively has the world behind him since his disposable cash is almost infinite compared to mine.

OTOH, it only costs $42k and I'm ready to fight again. So no big deal though my hospital bill has rocketed up from $3k to $14k in 2 days.

pass on anyone who gets too aggressive to me. i surfed the hitlist for a while and racked up some dough-ray-mee, and boosted my income pretty high.
