Mob Wars on Facebook...

While that is correct, a smart mob will bank his income quickly so that he does not loose so much in each fight.

Surf the Hitlist. I just made $4.78 Bill in hits this AM. I don't put $$ into the bank only more, as it gets too expensive. Even if someone retaliates, it is usually $100K per hit, and I run close to "Hospital" levels anyway, so it is not much of a loss.

Yes, I agree that once making 3Mil an hour it may not be smart to bank the money. You'd loose more in bank fees than by loosing fights.

I was thinking about myself and Norm. $70k in a fight is still a big deal for us. It's is like a lottery when I win it. I don't think I've been taken for much money yet. Maybe $10k once.

My latest light bulb moment. Saving money and buying land and buildings in bulk. Each one you buy increases the price. Buy in bulk at the lower price to save money. Shaggz...I'll assume you know that.

I agree, Ben. I usually take my $70ks and bank them. Hourly Income goes to property, arming mob (if necessary), and balance to bank. Same with "Job" money.

Agreed that buying properties in 5/10 increments becomes more cost effective. Arming mob that way doesn't save money, but it is easier to keep track of. I usually arm in groups of 5, so I tend to be +/- 2 complete sets of gun/armor/car at any one point. Again, it is just easier to track it that way.

Another hint is to time arming of the mob when you are in the Hospital, so no one can attack you and take the money you've withdrawn to do so. You should also consider arming and purchasing property right after payouts or claiming a bounty, as opposed to banking it and pulling it out later.

Right now I have $2 Billin cash, $900Mill in bank. I took a fair amount to hitlist and rig ignitions on some bullies and chain killers. It's fun to get notices that someone blew up, days later :getsome:

I'm finding that these guys with casinos and bad fight ratios are becoming smarter. They may not care about winning fights just as long as they keep their money in the bank. Money in the bank can't be taken away.

I'm finding the guys with the awful records are indeed less productive. I've also started hitting anyone with a lot of losses. If I see a record of 600-300, that just tells me they like to go fight weaker mobs. 300 losses is a ton. More often than not they're wins. But these guys also sleep and their bank account grows while they do. 🙂

I'm up to 9 in stamina. Occasionally I get a fight list that's pretty lame. But they rotate very often so you can easily make millions in an hour.

The hitlist is impossible for me. Does it update automatically? The hits usually disappear in 1-2 seconds. I haven't fought once.

I started doing this last night. I also invest in only 1 kind of property at the moment - hotels. Someone clicks on my profile they see a good win record and a single source of income. I may have $800k sitting there if I haven't checked overnight. But it won't look promising enough to bother for most.

Being sick freed up a lot of time to kill...

I didn't get into the Hitlist until I reached the 40s. You need to keep refreshing for updates. Best opportunities for a kill are earlier in the AM, or later in evening, say after 8:00. I park the laptop in front of me when we watch our shows after the kids go to bed, and F5 away for 30 mins.

Random example of my fighting:

I had a full 9 stamina. So I went fighting!

I picked people with casinos.

First target: I went 3-1 with $173k in winnings. Lost the last fight so I moved on.

Second target: 1-0, no cash.

Third target: 1-2, no cash. Lost the first 2 fights by 15-17 damage scores, kept banging and was rewarded with...nothing.

Fourth target: 2-0, $140k. I had earned 1 more stamina point while fighting so I got in 10 fights.

In all, 7-3 with $313k in winnings, maybe $30k fixing myself in the hispital, and drop the 10% when I put it in the bank. I end up clearing maybe $255, which is about the startup cost of about 6 new mob members.

I currently have 57 in my mob.

So at some point along the line, I was able to attack more than 4 times in a row. I just took out a guy 8 straight times and took $70k each time. He was a level 23 tycoon with a casino and 387-232 record. I think his mob was 17. I may get killed for this one. Last night I got killed for the first time.

Wait, what's this website about? If my wife kicks me out, I'm coming to your house Ben! (you do have wireless, right?)

Wireless and unsecure. you can use my wireless the same way all my neighbors do. 🙄

well I don't think my neighbors do but they could. Wouldn't suprise me either. I don't care.

Scored my first Bounty Kill. 7.3M. Hot digity that was a lot of money. I bought some property in bulk and got my first SWAT Bearcat. Yummy!!! :getsome:

Oh man I'm so envious. I've spent my whole damn day raising 6M to buy this damn container yard. Almost there but a 1 shot deal would be sweet!

congrats, ben!

not trying to one up you, but i got a personal best - 3.8 bill. bought 5 luxury hotels, and hitlisted a few bullies :getsome:

Damn! I finally got to fight one of these guys. Totally out of my league - 81M bounty. He outdamaged me 24-5 but I put him in the hospital. All I need is to be that last 1 point of damage!

OK so I have a new plan

I'm at level 15, and my mob is 157 strong, but I don't have any money to equip them :-(

Therefore, I can't fight anyone with any sort of money, because even guys with small, well equipped mobs are kicking my butt now.

So Ive shifted gears - I am now just robbing the jewelry store over and over until I make enough to buy the mercedes to do the liquor smuggling. Then I'll start buying armored trucks to do the bank jobs (where the real money is at). This money will fund my property portfolio until I have enough regular income to support my mob and start fighting again.

Big mistakes I've made starting out:
(1) Started fighting at too low a level. Spent waaaay too much money getting healed to support fighting rather than on property

(2) didn't invest in property enough early on

I think Ben's strategy is totally the way to go at higher levels, but I made the mistake of employing it too early. I hadn't established a solid foundation first.

So now I have to do the waiting game while my energy recoups. Annoying.

Yes, I do procrastinate at work this much...

Building on Norm's point that more expensive properties aren't necessariy more lucrative and Ben's point about the economy of buying in bulk, I put together a spreadsheet that calculates the ratio of total income to total cost for a given property.

As you purchase blocks of property and the price increases, simply insert the new price and check its ratio vs. others. (Higher ratio = more return per dollar invested).

Also, since you can buy in max blocks of 10, this works as long as the income disparity is less than or equal to 10-fold between the properties.

For example:
Hotel:
Total Cost: 450,000
Total Income: 10,300
TI/TC*1000: 22.9

Highrise Apt:
Total Cost: 5,050,000
Total Income: 50,300
TI/TC*1000: 10.0

Total cost 5 hotels: 2,250,000
Total Income, 5 hotels: 51,500

Clearly, the hotel is the better investment and will remain so until its price is inflated to the point where the TI/TC ratio is equal to 10.

OK, then maybe you can answer this question for me. I deal with engineers on a regular basis, and do not understand why so many of them pronounce height, "heigth".

My latest slight strategy move (not for Steve). When you attack a guy who is online, and you score the $70k, open a second browser to your bank and put the money in right away. Then keep hammering him until he's either in the hospital or you can't hammer anymore. I'm starting to get put on the hitlist more often - 5 times in the last 24 hours. And if you just keep hammering often times they put you on and you potentially lose $500k if you don't get it in fast enough.

You know, that always burned my ass, too.

I have no idea. All is I can figger is that these creatures of habit must assume that if the other two dimensions are lengTH and widTH then it follows that the 3rd must be heigTH.
