Worked until 10pm, so night ride again. It is always mind boggling to me how much the woods change after the sun goes down. Lots of fireflies this year which is good to see. Tonight was an arachnid paradise along with a bunch of bats and owls swooping. I guess I spent more time than I thought waiting for Charlie, so I had to spin on the road for 2 more minutes. https://strava.app.link/dVhG279BmBb

To put this picture into perspective, this is a section of horse trail that is 4 ft wide. The web spanned the entire width. Does anyone know what type of spider this is? It’s body seemed easily the size of a quarter. Some kind of orb weaver, I’m assuming. Extra phallic 4 min ride. ss style in the highest gear bc I forgot I snagged the battery from my mtb. I figure @Sven Migot and @Dave Taylor would be proud of this ride :).https://strava.app.link/6p9v6uTDmBb

FYI for those of you have missed a day, I'm keeping you in the 31ers in case you want to use the mulligan rule in the next 3 weeks:

  1. The Mulligan Rule. Each rider in this competition will be granted on e (1) Mulligan. This means that you are allowed to miss a single day and make it up later. However, you need to make it up by doing one (1) ride of 1+ hour in addition to one (1) TM session of 1+ hour on the same day. You will need to convince the event organizers that your TM efforts are legit in order for this to count

I am @jackx. I don't understand what you are asking. But thank you for adding me to the group!

Lol all good, you were already on there. At the bottom of the 31ers so maybe you missed it. I was confused.

July 9

1hr, 55min

Early ride (for me) in the light rain right until the heavy rainstorms rolled in. It was so nice to ride in light rain instead of in searing heat. I made it home minutes before the sky opened up and poured for hours.
