Ride 23/31. MTBNJ Nassau group ride. Rode in Norm and Pat’s group. Had some mechanical issues but it was still good. Thanks to Steve and Pat for figuring it out. Thanks for waiting for me to catch up.

I turned off my alarm and thought I would lay there for 5 and woke up an hour later. I had planned to hit baldpate for some trimming so stayed a few min closer. I did get the Cushcore in but I had a slowed leaked because I messed up the tape like a newb. I doubled back to the lot to pump up and saw one of the local banger’s car so I went and waited where I knew he would go. One of those “I only know you online” people so good to meet IRL. When we finished the loop he was meeting some other hammers so I rode half a loop with them. turned into a local hero’s ride.

Mercer with the nica kids. Man it was hot, no kids obtained heat stroke, which is always a plus. We took it easy and sessioned some stuff.
