Day 13: Deformed Candle GPS Art
For the first time this month, I went on a road ride. I dabbled in the idea of trying to do nothing but mountain bike rides, but the reality is that a) CR would get boring and b) I would get so tired that every ride would start to be a drag. I really didn't want to face either of those situations. Instead, we hit the swamp after we dropped off the tall kid at work. Then we did a moderate loop on which we were passed by 43,717 cars. Roughly.
The road bike is riding wonderfully now, thanks to @jimvreeland giving it a once over for me. I dropped it off before Vermont with the note, "Make it good," which is exactly what it said on the ticket. I can say that he followed instructions and it is now, in fact, good. I like to do my own work to some extent. But like most of us, I am in a reactive mode as opposed to proactive. Giving it to the pro on occasion is a good thing. It's nice & smooth now.
We forgot to take a picture so you get a Facebook memory from 7 years ago.
