I close on my new house tomorrow, need to work tomorrow and Friday then move next week and close on my existing house at some point next week as well. Should get interesting fitting rides in post tonight.

13/31. Woke up with a headache to beat the band, another expression that makes absolutely no sense. It only got worse throughout the day. @jmanic didn't let me off the hook. Beautiful weather, nice meandering loop and good company straightened me out. An hour in the saddle seems to to go faster these days.

After seven days of flow trails in VT and then a few days off the bike, it was great to get back out on some rocks at Wildcat Wednesday. Even met some new people for a change.

Ride 9 of 20

I had no intentions of riding today, but a friend (who lives within riding distance) invited me over for a pool party. I live in Hunterdon County, horse country. On my ride to friends house it occurred to me that horses are given neither shade nor water to cool themselves off on these hot days. I'm very glad to be human.
