Ride 31/31. Rode Tourne and did the climb for the first time with no stops and no dabs. I got what I wanted out of this challenge - better fitness. I just want the MTBNJ water bottle as a trophy! https://strava.app.link/4svTX4Cb7rb
31/31 What an awesome way to finish the challenge, meeting new and not so new friends! Thank you to @JDurk , @Dusty the Whale , and @krink for putting up with my pace….truly gentlemen.
Ride 31 of 31
Thankful for a cloudy morning. Rode some different trails in the same ss ridge area. Family trip so I’m not able to explore more but loved these couple of rides. Today one section was a little sketchy for me. Big fall on the left. I stayed hard right but maybe a little to far right with a hard pedal strike that sent me off balance. The e-bike was so helpful. That extra push on stepups and climbs was huge especially with all the techy gravel. Not sure I see the one for me yet at home, but was a ton of fun for a rental.
Ride 1
Ride 2 returning the rental bike
Nice pedaling everyone. And congratulations if you met your goal(s). It was great to follow along with everyone’s rides and posts.
Approximately
550 miles of road
120 miles of gravel
80 miles of trail
Today was just more gravy when it comes to this challenge but it’s also the last day before I start my new job and routine next week. I had a plan mapped out in my head this month to ramp up the miles and efforts before the upcoming “break” and I definitely achieved that.
Not sure how to best find the break down but I did 753 miles this month mostly road but a few legit MTB rides and plenty of gravel too.
I really wanted to drive to allaire this morning but with my son still not feeling well it wasn’t in the cards. Since my gravel bike is the least broken right now I went back to the Columbia trail with one of the goals to ride out to Highbridge and PR the 15 mile segment. Since I made great time I was able to add some unplanned miles at the end of the ride to round up over 50 and I really emptied the tank.
It’s been great to see all the posts and pics of epic rides well done to all the 31/31 finishers and my fellow 20/20 finishers too. And of course a special shout out to @clarkenstein for keeping the score !
I wonder after this thread dies down if the biggest loser thread will get some updates im
Sure some of you dropped a few lbs and lowered your HR by a bunch. 👍🏻
Hopefully I can collect my MTBNJ water bottle trophy at the next group ride. Hope to see some of you at Cranks !
7/30….(30/31)
I wasn’t able to ride early, so we ended up riding around town. There was a fair bit of community activities going on. Got a hint of Balloonfest in the distance when we were wrapping up. One more to go. https://strava.app.link/3VCRUTvp7rb

Day 30 riding and got a chance to ride Allaire for the first with others I've only known from screennames. Good times, good conversation and post ride beers with @Dusty the Whale@Frank and @krink . Had to use a mulligan to fulfill the 31.
