Cathedral Pines

Read section 6B. Repairs are to be completed by the racer. Granted, I'll give you your example. Your "team wrench" may make repairs for you in your pit area.
IMO (as an ultra endurance racer myself) if you show up to a 6 hour with a team mechanic, methinks you are over thinking this format 🙂

6B defers to 6d, endurance racing.
Just saying its not against the rules to have your own wrench or pit support at a 6 hour event and spare parts except for frame and fork are acceptable, as was posed in the original question

You are correct!

Is anyone bringing their wife or GF to help/drive home from the race? Jamie wants to come but I can't make her sit there for 6hrs with noone to hang with

Dude, if you bring your chick to a 6-hour race you will be single before the end of the day. I can think of nothing more boring for a spectator.

I only take my wife and son to one race a year, Lewis Morris. The play ground, Lake, stream, and watching dad finish is enough for her and a 4yr old boy to keep busy for a few hours. If you bring your girl give her a wad of cash and tell her to drive 45min to an hour to the hamptons, go shopping and meet you back for the food & awards. everyone one is happy😀

Shoot, I didn't think of that! I guess I'll have to take a nap before driving back home...

What is the format of this race? It's advertised as 6 hours endurance race. Do you ride for 6 hours or you have to do certain amount of laps?

Do as many 10 mile laps as you can within the 6 hours. You can start a lap all the way until 5:45 (or maybe 5:50?) so its possible to do 7-8 laps.

Cathedral Pines is on!! It looks like The VTC President will be driving out in the am on Saturday with the CHO. VTC Prez is shooting for 9 laps.:getsome:

The race is sold out, though if I'm reading it right Cat. 1 racers can register day of. Does anyone know if this is correct ?

thats what is says on their website.

Please remember, CAT1/Pro racers are still permitted to register "day of".
ALL CAT1/Pro racers must have current/valid USAC license present at Check-In.
