The general quality in MLS hasn't been high enough for me to get excited about. I have a couple of friends that are season ticket holders though. I've been a Liverpool supporter since I was seven, and was at Anfield for the match last Boxing Day.

I vivid memories of every World Cup since 82'. There is nothing else like it. I've promised myself that this year I won't get disfunctionally depressed when England get knocked out.

hey didn't i see you in that movie, greenstreet hooligans?

Now that I have finally seen all of today's games, it is safe to look at this thread. Mexico is looking pretty good, but seeing Blanco hobbling around out there next to all the twenty somethings is pretty comical.

So Messi didn't score, but he had a hand in most of the goals which is cool.

I'm psyched about tomorrow. I'm heading up to Sparta to watch the US game with my parents, then going to check out Mahlon, then doing early father's day dinner with the inlaws.

yeah Blanco is an old fart, he had officially retired from the national team and the coach pulled him back out of desperation, he has some good football left only thing is he cant run!! But he puts pause to the game and gives good passes. They must win vs Uruguay because if not they will face Argentina in the next round and we all know what happened last time

Messi had a great game, all he needs now is to score, but you know what I am talking about, even Argentinians were showing him no love because of his poor performance with the national team during qualifiers. And I guess Higuain is there for a reason,,,,with that Hat Trick, although they were easy goals, he still had to be there.

Must win for the USA today too.

well that was close....😛

Its ok Clark, I think JimN is staying away from this thread until late afternoons...

Its England's time to shine!
