What have you done to your bike today?

Put air in my rear suspension shock. I felt it bottoming out today and had to set it to ridgid for the ride home.
Just never thought to check it or add air. Never had a shock before. Hope all is good. Thanks Youtube.

Ask and you shall receive. I had a miscalculation with the brake rotors. I thought I had a pair of 180's but they were only 160's so it's basically done, just waiting on the new rotors.

never could get the tire inserts sorted but at least the wheels are re-taped and the tires set up tubeless... yes I know the front logo placement is f’d up..it was perfect the first time i mount it....backwards 🤬... it’s an old tire anyway. It can stay cockeyed until the new one shows up.

I always remember the tire company wants their model name showing in pictures so it's always drive side. Hasn't failed me yet.

I tore down and cleaned up the barracuda after today's TM ride. I drained what seemed like a gallon of water from the bottom bracket, probably from almost losing the bike crossing the overflowing concrete bridge. Popped the seals off all the bearings, cleaned them out, and regreased them. Also did a lower oil change on the fork just in case, even though I just did that a few weeks ago. Only thing I didn't do was the hubs because I didn't have the right size cone wrench, I'll have to take care of that soon.

Shipped fork and dropper post to Fox for service including free upgrade of the grip2 unit to vvc...I don’t even know what that is but I’m sure makes it betterer!

Ripped the stock Turbo tires in the 2 rides I did with these wheels. (200 miles) Which I actually think is a world record for Turbo tires. Cottons usually last me a single event.

Anywhoo. Mounted some of those Limited Edition TDF GP5000s.

First step of restoration to former SS glory for the El Mar. original SS specific wheels have cleaned and retaped and wrapped in tub less tires...waiting for Fuggy’s fork and dropper post to come back from Fox so I have at least one geared/nonfat bike...

I blew out all the tubes with the compressor and the inside of the BB shell got a fresh thin coat of marine grease.

The one in the picture is the stock one, 18t. It was supposed to be paired with the stock 32t but I decided to keep the fancy 28t red chainring so I’ve ordered a 16t. In short is going to be 28t/16t.
