what did santa bring you?!

Money (to probably buy a point and shoot camera), a ton of art supplies (pencils, pads, etc), GPS for my car, a cool helmet to match my kit, clothes, and stuff that I have yet to open (when I see my friends).

Oh - and a stomach ache! I have so much food in my belly right now and my ride today only stirred it up :(

As long as you didn't also "buy" him a 3 million dollar life insurance policy I think you're a-ok :)

new gear

on the cycling front:

a set of rollers to try and stay in shape this winter
a new bell helmet

and the rest

garmin GPS for the car
books
triple play card
gift cards

no complaints here!!

I got nothin'.... The wife and I are combining our gifts to get a BIG screen TV for the living room.(we're lucky enough to get whatever we want or need all year long). We also decided with the family to stop buying for each other, and now we only buy for the kids. My 2 nephews and 2 other youngsters still get lots of stuff from all the adults, so they make out, and the cost is spread out. Since the Wife and I do not have our own kids, we really enjoy spoiling our nephews. We got them a Wii system; their parents gave them--amongst many other things--some games for the Wii, and some very cool nerf machine guns. (that I still haven't gotten tired of pegging them with!):D

Over 20 hours of bike porn DVDs (2008 Giro, Flanders, paris Roubiax, 9 Ball Diaries, etc) to make indoor trainer time bearable and a 2 hour Christmas day outdoor fixed gear ride after almost a week of indoor riding.

my mom got me an assortment of wool and sweat wicking socks. my sister got me a $50 gift card to price point and I got to see the Bouncing Souls tonight. I haven't seen them in 11.5 years. holy shit i'm old!

I got a new Garmin 205(I broke the other one), X9 Rear derailer, Sram cassette and chain.

Everything else I got was for hunting:D

Hope everyone is having a Happy Healthy Holiday Season.

I enjoyed a sweet and simple Christmas with family and firiends...

The best was watching my sons eyes while he unwrapped his new Santa Cruz!
:)thanks to some really great peeps, I was able to put that bad boy together, in time for Christmas and most remarkably still have enough for the mortgage payment this month:)

I must have been pretty good this year too because the booty was good...
I got 3 pairs of very cool GIZMO socks...my favorite have kitity cats!
Black Fox shorts with a sweet black Fox matching shirt,
and another pair of black racing shorts with purple piping...

Happy Happy JoyJoy

My family decided not to exchange this year, which made things nice and easy! My GF got me a park stand, some Merrell boots, and a bunch of clothes. I also got clothes from her family, and a gift cert for Jay's in westfield.

Christmas wasn't bad for me this time around. My girlfriend got me a salsa pro-moto carbon low rise bar for my bike and my parents bought us a new dishwasher for our kitchen. Not to mention all of the usual clothing and other misc. items I usually get for the holiday. I also bought myself an 09 eastern jane (bmx), which is pretty sweet. But I would have to say that my favorite gift was getting out for a ride with a good friend yesterday morning before the ground turned to mush. I hope everyone had/has a great holiday season.

I got some new crank brothers pedals, and a new pair of specialized shoes.... Can't wait to try em out...

Park Tool Stand
Ergon GX1 in lime green
Specialized full finger gloves
Gift certs to Bikery
The Collective - Seasons

:D

Best Gift

My gifts came a little early but still the best gift so far, my twin boys, Nick & Jimmy.

Also the wifey got me Road ID dog tags, i guess that's a hint. :hmmm:

All I wanted from Santa was to ride with Dirty Bert again, (at least one more time before the boys) but he didn't come through. F-in Santa! F-in Jim! Thanks for making my Christmas Suck!

I didn't get any bike related stuff. Actually, Art and I agreed to not do gift exchange this year, cause Art already went and bought himself a cross bike that he plans to convert to a fixie. It came in xmas eve. I love the color. He just went out for the first ride.:)

A garmin 705 and a laser beam. The two are not related. The garmin takes care of the "I got lost" excuse for extended rides. The laser is to make my co-workers jealous and clients more agreeable.

Don't you carry a gun? Do they really need to be more agreeable?
