If your going to watch a sandler and expect good acting you'll always be disappointed. You can enjoy almost anything with the right expectations

Holy shit this season was pretty terrible.
 
Just watched a great BBC2 doc on Stonehenge.
Sadly it looks like one and done.
Worth an hour for sure-

We just watched Burn After Reading. Not sure how this one slipped through the cracks as we are pretty big Coen Brothers fans. All star cast and a solid dark comedy. Any time I watch one of their flicks it just makes me want to watch The Big Lebowski though.
 
Anyone else watch Nomadland yet? It's getting rave reviews but I really wasn't into it. Beautiful backdrops but very boring. Frances McDormand working at Amazon and putting stuff in boxes, cleaning bathrooms, shoveling potatoes? Yawn.

I started rewatching the expanse again and I agree with you. I just started watching the 4th season
and it's bad. Now I know why I stopped watching it. I think I'm going to start watching something else.
 
Btw, I didn't really like Mank either. I love David Fincher and Gary Oldman but the movie was filled with inside Hollywood politics that just we're not very interesting to me. 🤷‍♂️
 
Watched all of the available episodes of PEN15 on Hulu a couple of weeks ago. Not sure how well the intended viewer aligns with the demographics of this site, but it's an amazing show.
 
Just finished watching utopia (UK version) on Prime. It's short and never finished, but it still kinda has an finish. Perfect for the vaccine nutter's to watch.
 
So, what did we think of Army of the Dead? Personally, I didn't really like it too much. Too long. Ridiculous conversations when they really should have been focused on the task at hand. Annoyingly screechy zombies. Had its moments and I like Dave Bautista but I was disappointed after all the hype.
 
Finished "Behind Her Eyes" this weekend on Netflix. I have to say, the suspense kept me going and it was well worth it. Definitely not what I expected, pleasant twists and turns.
 
Halston was good, which also had Elsa Peretti, the famous jewelry designer. I guess it is a double standard to say we don’t need gay soft porn in these shows, butt....
