Tymor

Sounds like we're in for a dirt-crit:getsome:!! I'm kinda upset about the big climb, that was my shot to place🙁

I would say that is not a good description. IMO, The course is a little more technical than last year, and much of the singletrack has a limit to how fast you can ride it before you clip a tree or lay the bike down. Much of the efforts will still be on the climbs. Only 200 ft of vert per lap was taken out from last year, so still expect plenty of climbing to lay your hammer down.

Jim what is a dirt-crit

A dirt-crit is a term to describe a super-flat, super-fast, wide-open race course, much like a criterium in road racing...Albeit a mountain bike course is NEVER actually as flat as a road crit, it would still favor the same style rider...Tymor isn't really a dirt crit, but very close, even last year with the climb it was a bit faster than the other courses in the series, save of course for Stewart, which is actually a dirt crit...

Don't be so sure. After Waway we drove (about) 45 minutes north and west Listening to Tom. Then I asked Danny "Long Island is South and East, Ehh?:hmmm:"

Reason 1,274 why GPS units in cars are for fools and lazy folk. I am saddened to hear you have one. As imperial emperor you should have your minions handling navigation. I'll have to straighten them out this summer when I visit the empire.

If not for the Compass in the Imperal Sedan, Danny & I would have ended up in the Monongahela Valley or the Mesabi iron range😕

Change of subject

Looking like it might rain all weekend! Of course the forecast changes and they are never right, but still... current forecast at this particular moment is rain. That @#$%!

Looks like great weather and conditions for beginner and sport, and possibly epic conditions for Expert, if the rain really moves in!

Should be fun tomorrow...
