First lap was slippery, 2nd and 3rd were really slick. Maybe I had too much air in my tires too. I fell four times, the third of which was pretty hard. And was having some chain issues, contact issues (dirt in eye), ankle & stomach pains? So, it wasn't a good day for me. I debated quitting after the second lap, just because of how slick it was and how slow I was going but made myself do the third. I imagine the course would have been fun dry. I had the legs and the energy, but just didn't have the traction…guess I need to ride more when it's slick out...:whoopdedo

Nimrod described the course really well.
Congrats to everyone who raced!

Thanks to Bruce and Erik Kristiansen for those great shots. I was rocking my old skylands cycling shorts and going for the early 90's cycling poster boy look. Bill C. from MTBNJ was busting on my outfit. <--- It's all-good. He might be disappointed though, that I cracked my helmet when I crashed, and I might have to get one that matches my new BlackBear jersey. :D Anyway it was east to pick out where I was in the photos.
