Even more reason he should know better and know that all he needed to do was ask.

What do you think of The Hunter?
I like it better than Crack The Skye
Dude, I totally missed this. I'm digging The Hunter, but the wide variables in song style make it feel like the 2nd & 3rd Queens of the Stone Age albums. It even sounds like them in a couple of places. Definitely a big departure from Crack The Skye, which I think in the end is the one I prefer.

And a playlist:
-Black Tusk Set The Dial
-40 Watt Sun The Inside Room
-Melvins Gluey Porch Treatments
-Rainbow On Stage
-Black Sabbath Mob Rules
-Om God Is Good

last one for tonight. These local boys have been going on almost 15 years now. I admit I put them on the back burner shortly after the started simply because of who they knew and who I knew, I really couldnt be bothered to get involved. This song was one of the few after their first cd that really stuck in my head.

I went to see both of their soldout shows at Starland about a year ago and am happy to report that they have matured considerably, so please disregard the wardrobe and antics in the video. The first night the covered Beyonce and the second night was Bon Jovi.

New Jerseys own, E-Town Concrete. Mandibles

Hatebreed doesnt appear to be playing anymore(not sure if they ever were), however Biohazard, Sworn Enemy and Razorblade Handgrenade will be there.

Its sure to be a hoot!

Arch/Matheos new super group featuring John Arch, Jim Matheos and Bobby Jarzombek. Easily top 2011 album. James La Brie could learn a thing or two from Arch.

Wow, talk about a trip in the way-back machine for me. I was pretty heavily into Fates Warning through Perfect Symetry, and then my leanings kind of moved elsewhere. That's almost certainly the first time I've heard John Arch sing since the 80's.

BROOTAL!

I listen to some harder stuff but the vocals sometimes just kill it for me. like the bat screech stuff, i cant stand it 🙁
Anyone have some good instrumental heavier stuff? I don't have my tunes in front of me,

This LoG song without the vocals sounds awesome.

I like Randy's bat screech! lol...

If you want heavy instrumental stuff, then check out Blotted Science (featuring Alex Webster from Cannibal Corpse), and Jeff Loomis (guitarist from Nevermore). If you want heavy PROGRESSIVE instrumental, then check out Animals as Leaders and Liquid Tension Experience
