Stewart Six Pack Mud fest Fun Fun Fun

I just got home from a great race. The mud and the pudles (Aka Lakes) we rode thru where crazy. Just wanted to say thanks for putting on a great event. My old body was able to finish 4 laps in about 5 1/2 hours. Right past the finish line I had my chain bind up and one of the guys with an MTBNJ Jersey was able to help me out. I was so jammed up he had to use a chain breaker to remove my chain. Thanks again!

The course was funner than shit. Started on time and results were up fast. Not too mention all the people helping other riders. Kirt, Utah and chris offered me their shoes and pedals after I broke mine by the beer station....I think chris offered me his whole bike at one point. So I slammed 2 cans of beer and figured the bike would fix itself. MattyB came thru at the Halter's tent and gave me a Crank Bros. pedal (not sure if I want to thank him again or be pissed he made it possible for me to go back out)

The event seemed flawless and those trophies were sick in person

There is a discrepancy in the Open Men's field. We are looking in to this and will get it sorted out as soon as possible. We will have this fixed by tomorrow, please hang tight.

Any other questions or comments regarding the results should be directed to Norm: normZurawski@yahoo.com

Thanks every one for participating and making this a successful event! 🙂

Thanks for the results, guys. It's a thankless job, for the most part. You guys all rocked out there.

It was super fun to have some many friends spread out around the course. Seeing all the smiling faces along the way really helped on the last few laps.

Thanks to all who volunteered.

Missed Ashley's second lap for Half Fast, so maybe we didn't come in last 🙂 Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things, I just want it officially recorded that we did 4 laps in that mud slide!

Great times.

Curious if anyone else was seeing the course zoom by their eyes as they were drifting off to sleep. It was awesome.

First off I want to thank Norm for taking on the challenge which I`m sure gave him plenty of headaches, then to all th MTBNJ crew who helped out, everyone was amazing. Never saw so many people busting their buts and being so helpfull and smiling at all times. The beer, babe area was crazy cool sort of made you forget the pain while going through with all the cheering, good thing I really dont drink or I would of just hung right there. Also want to thank Matty and the guy from Halters for making a million trips to bring all our stuff there and most importantly back because there was zero energy when we were done, it hurt just to stand let alone carry things back. And the course well, my chamois felt like a very wet diaper like when you let your kid go swimming in a pool with it on,it was just flopping around and weighed about 10 pounds. I`ve never been forced to change completely in any race before and off course I didn`t stay dry for long. Fun, Fun, and more fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And we cant forget to thank Luke for doing his thing in those conditions for that long, you must carry alot of batteries with you. Your the man ! MTBNJ Crew Rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From my side of the fence (working the event), I had a blast.

I want to thank all the racers; if we didn't have you we would have been riding around by ourselves. I was truly impressed with all the teams teams that made a huge showing - Halters, Darkhorse, Bulldog, Speedwell, Highgear, Wicked, Martys, Campmor...

One more in August! I am hoping to be racing in this one.

Hooray! Sounds like a big success and lots of fun all around. Sorry to have missed this one, but I hope to back out racing soon! 🙂
