@chainsawer I've never been to that part of the park before, hope I got the right one. If not, drop a pin exactly where I should start.
Looks like you got the right one. Thanks for doing that. Much appreciated.@chainsawer I've never been to that part of the park before, hope I got the right one. If not, drop a pin exactly where I should start.
Planning on trimming Golden next weekend. If anyone wants to help, let me know. No experience necessary.I did a nice loop today and trails were in great condition. By the mulch pit and golden were a bit overgrown but nothing terrible. I came face to face with a bear at the top of gravity cavity. He was a juvenile that didn't know what to do. I was probably 25 feet from him and I just kept rolling and talking to him. I looked away to see if mom was nearby and I heard him running. Thank goodness it was in the other direction!
Glad you hit this. Was targeting this spot for a trim next week.Top of pre-cooler has bin brushed back. Also note the bridges at bottom of trestle trail are still banged up pretty good, be careful.

Great job! Saw the great work around the lake and also on Vistar/Border.--Really appreciate it!Requested areas for brush hogging have been hogged.
Not super easy going, but not impossible. 4.5 hrs.. That's a workout!
Also did a bit of work by the lake W @Kirt.
Inspect and report back
yea I rolled that off on Sunday, guess it didn't stay put... 🙂Looked like somebody tried to roll it off the trail, but I gave it a couple of cuts to get it off the trail even more.
I always greatly appreciate when somebody gets off their bike for some unplanned TM. It all helps! A lot of riders just can't be bothered.yea I rolled that off on Sunday, guess it didn't stay put... 🙂
Thanks for the Intel. I've had my eye on those for quite a while. They were leaning over the trail. Looks like they've finally dropped. Now so much more manageable..From yesterday 8/19/25
Awesome! Thanks for your efforts!Three hours today just before the rain came.
if someone wants to cut out the face slappers in this section, that will make this the cleanest the lower trail have been in years.
