1 pothole, 10 broken bones, 1 week in the hospital, 2 surgeries, some cool new hardware, 9 weeks off the bike, 33 hours of Physical Therapy (and counting), and 15 pounds gained. If your gonna do it😀

this injury is not from riding slippery rocks and roots ,hovering over photographers and trying to kill bulldogs.

This happened over in RuEP over early summer, before I went clipless...... actually the day I decided to go clipless. no broken bones, thank god. Its a leg sandwich around the turn between a fallen tree base, my shin and the pedals at 14mph.

Stopped by Johnson's park and had to pour water on it to assess the damage.

PS: The Nike sneakers were not cool enough to protect me when it slipped off the darn pedal.

It just happened in my garage. It's kind of hard to describe what happened .. but let's say it involved a rusty tandem bike, ceased pedal, a pedal wrench, large pipe, a 2x4, and a kickstand.

Should have taken a photo while it was still drippy 😛
