Read Levon's book "This Wheel's On Fire". Good stuff. Got to do a Ramble a few years back. One of the better gig memories I have.

@stb222 has music in common with my cousin Damian. I remember him visiting with a sleeveless Jean jacket and Dr Martins. He would say hello, sit on the couch with his yellow Sony Walkman and read comics for hours. Dude man was out there but good guy nonetheless!

Any Jason Isbell fans here? Curious about what you think of the new one. I know I'm in the minority in thinking Southeastern was his best album and the new one isnt either. Sirens, 400 Unit and Here We Rest are just much better IMO.
 
The new Elway came out and is a good listen. Not sure what category they fall into but I would lodge them in the post-hardcore realm. It is previously what I would call emo but emo seems to have taken on a different meaning these days but it is Texas is the Reason-ish. I listen to music at work on speaker because I can't stand headphones for long periods and it is good music for that as it doesnt scare the shit out of people that come in my office.
