XPNs festival in Camden is always a great way to spend a few days in July.
That will be on my radar for next year.
Thx

So I had this discussion at the bar the other night when asked why I don't care much for classic rock bands like Led Zeppelin, Floyd etc. My response was when I got old enough to get into music most of those 70's bands were either dead, broken up or more to the point just old to my teenage ears. It just seemed to make more sense to get into local bands I could see for $2 and a can of food vs paying hundreds of dollars to sit in an arena. I thought this was a valid argument, I was told I don't know what I'm talking about.
So, am I a clueless uncultured heel because I don't think Robert Plant is the be all end all of music? I give those bands their due, I just don't ever want to hear them ever again.
