I have a Les Paul and a Fender Amp in my garage.
(wife banned that monster from the house after son # 1 was born,1990)

When Overdriving a Fender amp, it’s ridiculously loud.

Also when I’m “Hostile”; my Wife sends me to the garage to “Punish the Neighbors”

So yea 11 is doable😀 :wedgie:

The Radiohead album download thing is pretty interesting - you choose what you want to pay for the album and then download it. I also heard that Manchester band The Charlatans were also thinking about this. "But how do they make any money?", the idea is that people should at least pay a little for the download, like it so much and then pay to see the band in concert. It'll be interesting to see if this plan works - nice idea though.

It appears the site is down due to heavy traffic. I wonder if the people who pre-ordered were all able to get there downloads today.

The url is http://www.inrainbows.com/ but it currently just forwards you to their blog.

Thanks. I did try that earlier and I got the blog. So that makes sense now.

Thank goodness I am not a fan of this Radiohead

Oh man Walter, you're sooooo missing out.

I did shoot them about $20 for it. And i'll buy the double CD when it comes out.

I don't think you should feel guilty about paying nothing though. They are the ones who offered it for free.

I got my email link with no problem, but i ordered it the day the announced it.

The album is quite good. Not that it would come as a surprise.

I had this blasting in my car on the way to work (with my windows up as not to disturb others) and the quality is quite good for 160kbps. 160kbps is better than iTunes quality if i'm not mistaken.

I just checked the site. Looks like its up again but as slow as Motionbased.com on a saturday late afternoon. I'll finish the DL when I get home tonight. Never been disappointed in a radiohead release.

Enough with this Radiohead talk.....😀 (I did try the site but got nothin')

Lately I've been listening to some good ol' rock & roll by TESLA....their new double CD is pretty good: REAL TO REEL, it is all covers from older songs with the TESLA stamp.😉

Shooting Star, War Pigs, All The Young Dudes, Honky Tonk Woman, Thank You among others...

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but I popped in a Rufus Wainright CD today. Good stuff, though those of you who like Slayer and TESLA won't appreciate it.

Thanks for the tip, I guess myself and elzoller wont be picking that one up.

RATAMAHATTA!!!

OK, OK, fair enough. It was really a bone for Walter to run with. I'm not sure I understand his reply though.

cut him some slack, we are working on his post count. it's supposed to be a drum at the end of a one liner, would you prefer *buh-duh buh-dum*?

I'm now on a Mark Knoffler kick these days.

Sailing to Philadelphia, Rag Picker, and All the Road Running are in a heavy rotation
