July 4th AM Ride (BiscoJosh's last ride b4 Bar Exam)

it also looks cloudy here now..🙁 thinking I might just wait to see what pans out later.. might do some road.

not for today I just got done mowing the lawn and might do a ride later but not going to drive out of the area due to the idiots coming down to spend there weekend stuck in traffic...
 
you all missed out today great conditions. lots of riders did show and put some miles in, other than frank with two flats no other problems.

you know, that totally f-ing sucks. i was so excited for this am, then with all the rain talk, and the people i know backing out, i didnt go. very pissed at myself for not going - considering i started this whole fiasco!! damnit! I might bring myself to ride tomorrow AM (if the god damn conditions are good) so if anyone is up for it, let me know.
 
AWESOME riding today!

The tiny bit of rain made the dirt perfect. Nice and hard and lots of grip, but not enough to be even a little bit muddy or cause trail damage from riding it.

I'm gonna have to head back and practice some of those steep climbs.

Thanks all for putting up with my hyper self!

And thanks for the jersey Frank 🙂
 
crap

i got turned off cause of the rain and the weather report...but...next time...i should have just pulled the trigger and went...i sat and looked out my front door at the sky and the steady drizzle comming down...i thought everyone else was backing off except the people that live 5min away...oh well ill keep my eyes open for a ride later next week...
 
Yeah, we had a lot of people come. Well not tons. I would say... 15? More or less. Something like that. I suck at counting.

Frank took a pic of (most) of us together at the end; we'll get to see how stupid I look after 2.5 hours of riding with no water.
(Note to self: camelbaks get moldy if you don't clean them...)
 
Such a great ride this morning.....
It was really great to meet everybod.
It was humid as hell but well worth getting my ass out of bed. I was glad that I was not the only one that said Eff it and came out anyway. I figured since it was not pouring down rain it would be good conditions since it's been so dry lately. The little bit of rain made the trails just perfect. Glad those that did come out made it and the ride was salvaged..................

yet again I should have just went I will not beleve the stupid weather channel again....
anyone up for something sat or sunday after the hangovers....

Ya know, it's a damn good thing I just got dressed and left this morning without checking the weather. It rained a little enroute but was perfect at 6 mile. Sorry that you missed your own party pal, but we took a picture in "your honor" so you have something to reflect on,
