My chamois was also made of that sandpaper like mud. Great for exfoliation of the tush.
 
After cleaning and inspection last night what I thought was a blown side wall was actually a blown presta valve 🙁 Somehow it tore at the base of the valve stem baaaaah,
 
i went throw my back and frount brakes on the scend lap :cry: it so a mess but fun thow :popcorn:
 
i used half a bottle of 100% deet and i'm still scratching myself like a crack addict. i'm covered in mosquito bites 🙁

You sure they're mosquito bites? Stewart has tons of poison ivy, and if you were marching around in the foliage off the trail to get shots...
 
Yeah they are mosquito bites. They are all over my hands, ankles, and face/neck. I had a whole rain suit on so the bugs only got me in some spots. It's actually my hands where they got me the worst, I saw them do it too but I couldn't shake them off while taking pictures. I didn't want to ruin a shot by letting go of the camera.
Luckily I'm not allergic to poison ivy either.

lol, she's 12 now, she's always tired.

I can't believe how much grit got into everything. I even removed the cable housings and cleaned them all out as were full of grit. My brake levers were caked up, so I had to take them apart. As were my shifters. My rear brake pads are gone and they had about 50 miles on them prior to that race. No real damage, just alot of cleaning. Not bad though, had this been my MX bike, I would be cleaning and regreasing for a week.

Yeah! I made the video! Thanks Pixy! I especially like the ending with the clean up - definitely part of the experience!

I showed my daughter, and every guy she saw she asked, "Papa?" Everyone was too muddy to tell, I guess. Also, there was "He dirt" and "He mud". 🙂

Cool. I know he was looking for a team and that he's in Brooklyn. So you guys are a good fit. I suspect it won't matter much soon. We'll be battling to crack the top 10 in a different class sooner than later 🙄
