I have an 800 now. The 705 is just there on the shelf
Yo AM you can have my forerunner 410 in exchange for another mtb lesson. Getting the 810 on tuesday. I'm keeping the heart monitor tho.
Your best bet is a 705.... spend the extra $ and make it back by cutting other stuff out. I had one for 2 years no problems at all. (Changed out the battery once) but it was very good and very useful. Might be able to get a new one for cheap since ppl are using the 510 810 and 800.
You can't put a price on making a ride that goes places you've never been before and you don't have to worry about being lost. I made a file last night that was 50 miles of unfamiliar roads the ride went from my place up and around Sterling Forrest in NY and back.

Nice route .. I would take Otterhole or Skyline next time to avoid the hell on Route 511. And clockwise is probably better.
Burnt Meadow on your road bike is pretty hardcore :getsome: Give Stonetown Rd a try.

Mr. C, I appreciate your advice, but anything over $200 is not in the budget right now. Especially since this is a "want" and not a "need". The offer from Pearl is promising...
:
Pearl offered his up for $200 on the nose. Tell him "$150" Then he'll say "$175" then you say "deal". Don't you watch American Pickers and Pawn Stars? American Pickers is the better of the 2 shows
