drinking bath water

The other day after my bath, I took a plastic cup, filled it with the bath water and was going to water my plant with it. I left it on the sink, meaning to go back when I was dressed. No sooner did my daughter walk into my room with the 1/2 empty cup. Yup-- she was thirsty...:drooling:

So anyway...How is everyones riding going this summer? I'd like to get a big group ride together in Sept... Kids are in school..yay!! Things have been awfully quiet on the female thread.:blah:

Icky!! She drank your grime!! 🙂

Riding is just beginning. I am all moved, settling in, and finally finding time to get back on a schedule. Come ride with me soon!

Oh, and if I can, I'll join you for your ride in September for sure.

Well it is good to hear your kids voluntarily drink water...my kids won't touch the stuff - clean or bath.

Increased riding from approx 1 day a week to 3 or 4. Don't know if I was ready for that. Psychologically, I'm tired...prolly not physically.

Have fun on your ride in Sept. I'm sure I'll be at work when you go. 🙁

After four years of working full time, going to school at night, studying my ass off every weekend, graduating (in May), then going underground for about 6 weeks to study for and take the Bar Exam, I am finally BACK into mountain-biking!!

Reacquainting myself with Allamuchy North (still trying to find Lumpy Bumpy!) and learning my way around Stephens, thinking of venturing off to see what Round Valley is up to these days, maybe a trip to Jungle Habitat just for the fun of it.

I look forward to meeting many of you on rides or maybe at the races.

That is funny. I guess your daughter is ok?? I'll admit that I ran out of tooth paste as a kid and tried soap. It taught me!

As for watering ... We must be on the same wave length, b/c I thought about saving the pasta water last night. I thought if I let it cool down overnight, I could water my crisping ferns. Thank goodness it rained today.

Yes, lets get some rides going in September. 🙂 Mountain biking rules!

Pedals, you have kids in school? Well, you's gonna getting dangerous over the fall/winter and will be moving up in no time! Watch out Cat 2 girls, um, I mean me.

Mine is only starting preschool in Sept, so not enough time for a trip down to Jersey. I do love chemgirl's suggestion of rolling out on the road bike from the preschool as soon as the door shuts behind the kiddo! I'm all for some more training time. This "sitting at home and playing best friend to a 3-year-old" is getting old.

I did this all last winter, brought the road bike with me right to the preschool and rode, the teachers think I am nuts.

This Fall preschool will be Mon and Wed and with the extended day option it can be 9-2pm. That's 5hrs!!! Which means I should be able to venture out and ride places further than away than RV. If anyone wants to ride just lemme know.

Well seems as if your daughter is no worse for the wear on the water front.

As for riding I am around all the time (although some day are dedicated to my "children" aka my horses. During the week I can ride after 430 pm and anytime on Sat and Sunday. I have some trips planned here and there but otherwise I am good. Keep me posted!

After school begins, I am down with the 9 AM - 2 PM time zone! Let's hope we can put some rides together like we have in the past.

funny about the bath water!

Pokgirl....It's been a few years since I've played with a toddler all day but I still remember the oldness. My kids are 9 and 11 now, and I've finally instituted a policy, "I do not reply to questions I've already answered once". heh heh. But at 3, you have to keep answering. Hang in there!
