I take it the park will be a turd bath tomorrow?
turd bath galore.I take it the park will be a turd bath tomorrow?
Too bad we can't put up one of those color coded signs like they have for forest fire danger.
How is the trail for riding today/tomorrow?
No bueno. White trail head. Red looks the same. Whole park probably looks the same. Won't dry out by tomorrow.

Out digging today.
A million people out.
Bikes were all slathered with pounds of mud.
No one cares at all.
Signs look great, but they should pertain to all trail users, Not just mountain bikers.
I politely disagree with this.I was thinking the same thing. Hikers are the ones moving debris off closed trails - I could see them reading that and saying "ah only mountain bikers aren't allowed to move debris off closed trails, we're good to go!"
I politely disagree with this.
I have seen bikers blow thru shortcuts effectively flattening/moving stuff out of the way. Never seen a hiker doing it.
And realistically, tires do the most damage in wet conditions.
