6 Mile Run Conditions

Anyone know if we can try to ride on Sunday? It's been dry and warm with the same in the forecast so just wondering what the conditions might be like. Thanks.

I was wondering the same thing - haven't ridden long enough to experience extended days in winter with no freeze - you'd think it would be good soon. Weather like this makes stinkin NJ not as stinkin

It is drying out for sure. You will see the clear evidence of the traffic during the freeze-thaw.

This photo is from this am.

How is this Dec??

Rode this afternoon. @jdog latest trail work is awesome. It was still real slick and wet down by the concrete bridge.
Yeah, the water table is pretty high everywhere, but the freeze / thaw has stopped since winter was canceled.

That last bit of work done this week is finally fixing a spot that was always wet.

This may be the last really good chance to ride this park until we see a hard freeze. Enjoy.

Conditions were great this weekend (at least on the red/white side). I can definitely see what JDog is saying about the water table. Overall the track is pretty tacky and you can tell it's holding moisture. Not peanut butter mess yet, but there are definitely trouble spots. Freakish weather saw lots of people yesterday but at least everyone I saw had a helmet which was nice. Even Jacques lot was fairly full.

The blue trail was great too. We had a beautiful ride on Sunday on Blue, Orange and Red out and back from the Canal Road lot. Rain is in the forecast for tonight and Thursday and the temps are back in the 40's for next weekend but they're expecting a warm Christmas week.

solid 2.9 last eveningImeanafternoon. yes, yes, it was after 12PM.
I'd give it a 3, but if you ride like a rookie you could do some damage- we did not
