I saw an extreme number of deer today. Like - multiple deer herds and various singles around almost every other corner. I even saw 2 fawns nursing on the road, which is probably the weirdest thing I’ve seen while cycling in quite a while. Then, I saw these 2 bucks in a field, with some females nearby.

If I didn't have travel days at the end of the month, I might have pushed to do today or called a mulligan, but we drove from NJ to NC in one shot and I'm beat and there will be about 3 days at the end of July I can't do

Afternoon MTB at Stephens State Park. I started from the top, and did a mostly clock-wise loop. The mosquitos were brutal and it was very hot and humid. The trails up top were dry, but seemed a bit damp. The creeks were calm, not really flowing.
