I had maybe a 30 second window where I was reflecting on this challenge vs the upcoming doom that is going to be a hot humid Wilderness 101. 12 lbs down and my weight is closer to where I was prior to the two kids and a pandemic vs my max this year (are we still in a pandemic?). I do think, despite the extremely hot weather, the storms are not absolutely out of control this year as they were last year. I think I had my wife bail me out mere miles from the house on two occasions because the weather went completely bonkers with continuous lighting strikes everywhere, winds, and downpours that were the were completely out of the forecast. She, of course, also had to wrap up the kids and put them in tow
🙂 and once had to wake them, despite that being her decision. I also, am surprisingly, not in the dog house with the wife somehow... Or, so, I think. I didn't even tell her this challenge was going to be a yearly event until the 1st... and she was kinda taking it as a joke, but she should know better. Legs are feeling really good.
I also am horrendous at posting these, so I will continue the 3 activity pattern that I've established. I can't even remember If one of these will be a repost, but I'll figure that out in the morning at work.

Road ride... Felt fastish, but I had nobby gravel tires on it... so can't really compare it to any other similar ride.

So, Trump, or what ever that posh name road is (Cowparthwanker), is now shut down down. I also got a flat going up to the cider mill. Took a while to find the puncture and plug it, but it all worked out in the end. Never used the Stans dart... and eh... I guess I used it wrong, or maybe I should have taken 5 minutes out of my life to watch a youtube video on how it works, but the plug did eventually do it's job. Big fan of dynaplug. Not sure yet, about the dart. The dart just feels cheaper... but it is lighter... I think.
