July 8

Ride 5 of 20

Every day I go to Diamond Nation (or some other field) and watch my sons team play baseball, as he sits on the bench because of a torn hamstring. I'm done watching other people's kids play ball, so today I rode during their game. Surprisingly, the road bike felt better on my arm than the mtb has.

I ride past there on my Thursday night ride while my son is at ninja warrior training....

I am going to have to take a mulligan for #6. My grandmother of 98 (nearly 99 years old) passed last week after a 3 year decline in health. I was glad that I got to visit her one last time the week prior. It was a day of reflection and remembrance. There were many stories from the simpler times and it was nice to be able to celebrate her life with all of my closest family members. RIP Grandma, you will be missed.

#7/31 Back at home. Dropped my chain into my frame. Gave it a good scratch under the chainring. Luckily it isn't visible, but I'm still pissed about it.
