Jungle Habitat race course?

No man. It's not.

In a very efficient manner, you managed to put down pretty much every interest group and venue around...Roadies, XC racers who run their bikes, racers who use brakes on downhills, roadies who race XC, Jungle Habitat, H2H series, leg-shavers, puppies and kittens, ben, etc.

And you yourself said your fitness is nowhere, and fitness is core to XC racing. So maybe as someone said DH or trials is your thing. You're barking up the wrong tree then.

It's kind of like if I came to your house and said your furniture sucks and your dog is slow, and then showed you pics of my cars and kids. Well, except in this case you didn't show anything except poor quality pictures of an awesome place which anyone can pay to experience.

I thought we weren't going to feed the troll? Geesh. Although your response was well worth the exception.

Let me add Wilks that you have a total of 7 posts and every one has been critical of something so to me, that's a troll.

It seems a troll is someone with a different opinion than your own? I have been expressing my opinion, nothing more and I think there were several solid counter points made - many that gave me food for thought.

The point is... ask anyone who RACES, and they would all agree JH is not particulary a roadie course. BTW. The pictures of all those great places to ride don't offer anything much more technical than what you have here (oh yeah, in my opinion). The trails are longer, the views are better and it's not raining there.😀

It's down to barely a light drizzle and some scattered showers up here.
Things are looking better for our racers.

Totally agree, by looking at the pics I say ridged 29er with unlimited miles. Hardly full padded gear needed but thats only what I see no action shots of narly tech...

Ben...here are a couple of pics of our biking 2 weekends ago, a shame you weren't with us. Would have been fun watching you climb up Burro Pass and ride UPS, LPS and Porcupine Rim.

No Portal trail? I guess the signs about people dieing scared you?

Oh I've been there, multiple times. I just rode everything faster than you. 😉

Yes they do have these type of races, it's called Downhill Racing!😀

Thank you!! If you want it to be about who's the best technical rider, try Downhill or Observed Trials, hell even Super-D!! Cross-Country racing is a fitness based discipline, and despite how much you hate it, the "homo-leg-shaving-roadies" have a HUGE advantage, no-matter what the course layout is like. The same guys will be on the podium whether it's at Lewis Morris, Jungle Habitiat, or your local criterium race, fitness will always prevail😉

Downhill isn't the same. It's more about balls than tech. Utah put 5 places on the roadie today, I'm sure it has a ton to do with tech vs fitness. That guy would cream Utah on an all fire road race.
A no fire road Mahlon race would be awesome. I have never been interested in fitness, I love riding to accomplish goals and ring bells. I think I represent most riders. Too bad there are no events for us

I was going to turn off my Internet and phone for 2 weeks if he didn't.at least I'm not in his time zone now. Haha but he won so now I'm sad I wasn't there. This should be the championship for him.

Congratulations to UtahJoe for getting the Gold and Lushizzle for the Bronze in CAT 2 30-34

And since Fred Brown (Army of None) skipped this race, my fellow teammates took the Gold in SS Cat 2 (open)

Thanks Jon.

Kirt - I think they have you confused with Pablo. I'm thinking he didn't finish. But you sure as hell did. Good race bro.
