Red Mosquito

Lol this should be interesting. They’re on crappy SRAM G2s so probably not a worry.I run those red MTX pads on my trials bike. Only time I flipped over the bars squeezing the rear brake 😂

Looks pretty similar to an automotive serpentine belt, probably a little thinner though.after many many years with this Directo trainer....the belt finally snapped the other night...I didnt know what happened other than, it stopped working...so I took it apart and found this

Looked up that belt and of course, can't get it here.....trainer is made in Italy
Thankfully after some interneting I found another belt from a table saw that would work

Back in action...I suppose I should recalibrate it, but not sure why I care
They're not cheap but I've been happy with them on my 4-piston Shimanos. I don't feel they are far off from the Shimano metallic.I haven’t used MTX pads before, thoughts?
I've had them in the Sram Codes on my Big Bike for several years. They stop well and they're quiet. Put a set of ceramics (different brand) in the Levels on my Do Everything Bike, very happy with their performance so far.I haven’t used MTX pads before, thoughts?
Cockpit looks super clean 👍. That spot by the waterfall and spillway looks sooooo much better now that the cleared the overgrown brush and graded/seeded the landing.Tilted my saddle back like .05° and my hand & ass cheek numbness are gone
All my old lights were old and cooked so I stopped at Hilltop in Cranford and picked up 2 new lights for my early morning rides. My tops are flat and aero AF so lights didn't fit or look pro AT ALL. The top of the light mounts to the bottom of my CPU mount... I look down and can't even see it. View attachment 273208View attachment 273209View attachment 273210

I dragged the fat bike out of the basement yesterday to get it ready for this week, and the chain was totally rusted and basically immovable. It's almost like someone put it away soaking wet from snow and let it sit for ten months. So new chain and also new BB bearings and dropper post. I also remembered to re-up the Stans in both tires.

good to see @Wrong Way Dan still doing house calls for you!
Industry-Nine hub I assume?Um, nope.
Unfortunately the cracking/popping sound that I thought was my BB bearings getting ready to explode at the end of last season is still there, so I guess my hub bearings are getting ready to explode.

Yea, pulled the fat bike out of the rafters yesterday and the Bluto feels like the slick honey has turned into not slick tar.🙁View attachment 273315
