You should try push on odi longneck. A lock on grip is just never gonna be comfortable because lack of material imho . Installed with spray paint I never had one slip , even ripping wet dh laps .

Wasn’t 1,000° in the garage this morning so I finally got to put new fork decals on the SS.
I also went back to 34x18.
Was at 2:1 all season but do I really need to push on these rides? 34x18 is good enough to comfortably spin these days.

I have tried this Longneck too and I still orefer the Dreadlock.

and half price Bontrager XR4 tires

How's the fit and stem you're using? I was interested but thought the frame may be a tad small
It's pretty perfect. I'm 5'6".
It rides so well. Can't wait to try it now with the changes.

Snapped my lever off at watanong this afternoon....First lever I have ever broken in all my years of mountain biking.
So I knew I had a couple old XT, SlX brakes in my pile of junk......I found an old XT front I had from like 2017. I got both levers off...but there was an issue
On the older spare lever I had, this area is thicker then the newer lever on my pivot...and thus it would not fit nicely.
So I got my file out and shaved about 0.75mm off the sides to get it down to the same thickness as the one i broke
the process of putting this back together is a bit of an ass pain...getting the spring back in, then the pin thru...took a little trial and error, but i got it....seems to work fine....Should hold me over until my new lever gets here.

Trying out the new Domain Gold fork from Rockshox. The 34 that came on this bike was hilariously undergunned. I'd say 90% as good as a Zeb with 50% of the price tag.
