What have you done to your bike today?

I feel like I've read this story before.

I’ve had the new Hutchinson Challengers and GP5000ACs on order forever but I think they’re vaporware. Also new tubeless road tire option are dogshit because they took ultra lightweight race tires and bulked up the bead a little. Lame AF. The previous GP5000 was probably 3x as thick. The new TR you can literally see through. Lame.

This is the wrong place for this but whatever. I replaced the heater/fan unit on my shoe dryer. It lasted almost 10 years with near daily use but the switch started to get flaky and I didn't want to burn my house down. Posting mostly because everyone needs one of these. Finish ride and helmet, shoes, gloves go on the dryer and aren't sopping wet and gross for the next ride. Yeah you can do newspaper or try to put them out in the sun but for the tens of dollars that these cost, it's totally worth it for the convenience and effectiveness.

Probably should go in the Frown thread but I replaced my rim tape and sealant. Checked everything out last night for an early ride and then woke up to a flat. Soapy water told me it was not the valve stem I was expecting after cranking on it with the hand pump last night....

I just put my stuff in front of a box fan in my basement.

I have a pair and do agree 100%

Gave the Epic Evo some PM love. Did a lower service, air can service, and clutch service. Added some sealant while I was at it. Bonus, I forgot to put the metal bands on the fork seals, so I got to repeat the lower service. That means the fork should be good for twice as long, right?

Took my XC bike & converted it to a flatbar gravel'y type thing. Was going to buy an actual gravel bike, but surgery looms in a couple months...so gonna have some downtime with no riding.

Anyway....did the following:
RaceFace SiXC carbon bars
DIY Carbon Bikes boost fork (w/ Wolftooth 10mm bottom spacer for the lower AtoC of the fork)
Specialized Pathfinder Pro's 700x47c
Shimano MT200 brakes
Have a Whisky carbon seatpost too...but it's nice having a dropper

Still sorting some things (rear brake, stem height...hence all the spacers & throw on a larger front ring)
