A better IBIS option.

A comment I made on a video review.. "Too much. Too many cables, too many things going on on the handlebar, too thick bottom bracket, too many gadgets, lights?.. Perhaps IBIS will have a simple light weight EMTB in the future, but this iteration (like all full power EMTBs) looks monstrous."

Can someone splain to me what a full power ebike is vs a… regular ebike?
Full power EMTBs have (at least) 85nm of power, thick down tubes due to larger battery, over 50lbs in weight. While the lighter options have a smaller battery capacity and lower power output.

Just IMO.. the smaller, simpler, lighter weight EMTBs are the only ones that I can see without throwing up - Pivot Shuttle SL, Trek EXe, and Rise (albeit previous gen).

Funny when I saw the Ibis logo change I said to myself ah the ebike is finally here. I like the new platform dw link. You can guarantee that is coming on V3 ripmo.

Once you start talking $10k, I'm thinking this.... (yes, it's electric)

Funny you said that because a little more than a year ago I was in the Florida panhandle, and I happened to be at a Harley Davidson dealership. It was also then that Jay told me to call him about eMTBs that I was in the market for. At the HD dealership I pointed to a new motorcycle to a coworker and said this bike costs about as much as a mountain bike I'm thinking of getting.
