Bald Eagle State Park just north of Howard PA is a go to spot for this. You can prolly pick a weekend and they are running.

When I was still competing we used to ride a place called CandyTown out near Hershey. It's a Moto Trials Park so we used to watch them. And also the Motorama Trials Comps during the Farm Show. Back when @Jefflenosky rode a Schwinn.

Once you start talking $10k, I'm thinking this.... (yes, it's electric)

So cool, and my property is actually perfect for something like that but - and this is a rare moment of clarity - I know I wouldn't use it more than a handful of times. Hell, I have a CRF50 and 70 (with 'adult' springs, seat, and bars) that haven't been run in years. My friend Tom and I had all kinds of lines carved out but we only actually got together a few times. I can't tell where the trails were anymore.

The Yamaha is still a prototype but this is for sale:

$10,999. Kind of neat that it has a clutch. So you can go backwards, I guess. Or spin the motor up and really lunge at something?

Snow packer!

When im workin on the farm i don't reach for my 20 year old atv that uses $6 in gas a week to get around. i go on the internet and buy an $8000 ebike that may or may not have parts or tech support in 5 years. Cause thats the kind of financial decisions hard workin guys like me make.

Well you get what you pay for. An ebike for 300 - 900 bucks? That's like a Walmart bike.

Pretty sure he's not talking to this crowd, just talking out loud to the cheaptards who circle the shop and buy a cliff bar.
You are correct. sir! (and actually, they don't even pick up the cliff bar....just want free air for the third time this week in their e-scooter or infinity Costco hybrid).

Why is that even on this forum? Nobody is talking about that.

I was at Tenafly Bike Shop and took the Trek Ex-e for a spin on the street. It was dead silent like an analog bike. No whirring sound from the motor when pedaling. No clacking from the clutch. The motor was so well hidden that it looked like any other mountain bike.

On the other side of the spectrum, the Ibis Oso was on the showroom floor and it looked monstrous. Too many cables, too many doodads, too big. Not for me.

If it wasnt the batteries then it would be the brakes, if it wasn’t the brakes, it would be the adjustable stem and if all that holds up... guaranteed loose headset

We stopped working on these because of the brakes. They do absolutely nothing at all and have had parents come back to yell at us. Monster liability even letting someone bring it inside the shop.

Shocker, looks like a solid rig
