Shit, that means I'm going to die on the 25th when I go to yankee stadium.
I'm going in Sunday to see Meshuggah so if you don't see any posts Monday, you'll know why.

Oh, on a weekend I bet it's rather nice. My problem is that I work in Bergen County, so for me this ride would take place between 6pm-8pm on weeknights. Traffic on the greenway uptown isn't too bad, but when you get further downtown it can get kind of nuts. And that was pre-pandemic. Might as well be riding on the West Side Highway. With the exception of a few stravaholes, a ride down and up the Greenway is rather nice on a weekend.

I was listening to Jason Richardson and Dale Holmes on the BMX Weekly podcast this morning () and towards the end of the show they discussed the massive amount of e-bikes in the SoCal area. Both very good riders they noticed a lot of the people riding them dangerously (no helmet, not obeying traffic laws, not handling the bike well, on a cell phone).
Then Holmes mentioned Carlsbad recently declared a state of emergency due to the higher rate of accidents:

Congrats. So you bought Lenny's bike?@mattybfat sucked me inView attachment 196270
yep and thanks. it was hard to pass up. Lenny and I came to what was a good deal for me and hopefully him as well. Good guy. I talked with him for quite a while. I still love my 27# Ibis and it wasn't "replaced" by a long shot but the ebike for me brings new things. I'm a different kind of rider and have different seasonal focuses that keep me from a constant training regiment. I also knew I had the potential to "want" to go down the rabbit hole of obsessing on the new gen of ebikes and spec'ing a cost level that I didn't want to go down. So now I have 4 bikes that I love for certain reasons. It still doesn't hold a candle to how much "purpose" oriented fishing gear I have or so I tell myself. Oh and my wife didn't kill me.....yet.Congrats. So you bought Lenny's bike?
That's cute. LOL.... I still love my 27# Ibis and it wasn't "replaced" by a long shot ...
That's cute. LOL.
I've already told him to thin the herd but I guess he needs fishing pole racks. That's cute. LOL.
He got a great bike because Lenny put a lot of upgrades into it. Maybe I'll see it on the trails one of these days when he's not fishing.I've already told him to thin the herd but I guess he needs fishing pole racks.
you can never have enough fishing pole racks! The other bikes have more use/value to me than i can possibly get selling them. No one wants a 2017 Mojo 3 unless I give it away and I like it. The 29'er hardtail is my zwift bike and road bike. The fat bike gets kicked to the shed so the Ebike stays inside. I'd say the fat bike would have the most to worry but those are out of favor and besides I have beat the crap out of that bike and its my TM bike that carries my MS261 on a rack to cut bigger trees when the pack saw is too small.I've already told him to thin the herd but I guess he needs fishing pole racks.
