Update. 4 stitches removed.

have to pay attention to not try and flex it too much for now so the top doesn’t split open but I am cleared for activities riding

of course now it’s poring out and probably will be tomorrow. That’s ok I won’t take any chances with the nice weekend weather coming up.

I think I will make this my new Like icon for anyone I agree with from when I was in the pool the other day.

2 weeks and 5 hours later it’s feeling much better and healing pretty fast considering.

keep a bandaid on it when doing outdoors stuff aka cycling and still trying to keep it dry But mostly just airing it out as much as possible. I got lucky my buddies agreed to help me change my flat tire the other day too out on a mid day lunch ride.

around the area it was cut it’s definitely a little numb but I guess then I can change the name from #dumbthumb to #numbthumb.

I'd been doing pretty good lately, until yesterday! I had two nasty falls on what would typically be a routine walk in the park for me.

Anybody who knows me knows I'm no stranger to a little blood but the elbow won't stop bleeding and when I hit, the arm bone must have jammed into the shoulder socket and did some damage to my twice repaired rotator cuff.
Can anybody refer me to a good ortho?

Rockaway Twp. Morris County but thanks anyway. I liked the guy who did me last time who is in Wayne but it takes a month to get an appointment.

I had Dr DeNoble in Wayne a few years ago, great guy! Not too young, not too old, and smart

This past Saturday at Stephens. 5 dissolvable stitches to pull it back together from the great ER staff at Hackettstown ER. I went to MedExpress first, they said it was too big for them.

This is probably a bit of a late response, but Dr. Black with Summit Medical Group is a very good shoulder specialist and has done numerous revision cases. My wife was a PA under him for long time and there is nothing bad to say about him. He also is extremely busy, but it's worth a shot.

Broke my right hip while just coasting down a fire road at Wayway. The ball end of thr femur shattered the socket. Could not put any weight on it, my budds help me get on the bike and pushed me 2 miles back to the car. So now waiting for surgery in the morning. Have yet to see the xrays. @UtahJoe it was nice to finally meet you. oh and morphine really works well.
