What have you done to your bike today?

Now I need to figure out what to do with the old rack... anyone want in the hitch mount bike transportation game send me a message. The old one is a Thule T2.

I should have just sent the fork for service.
The air spring was easy.removed a 10mm spacer. Travel is now 150mm

I was looking over the damper side and I can hear it knocking just by cycling the rod by hand. Quick email to MRP. They say there is air in the damper. There is now a factory DLX service kit on the way. With damper bleed cup and another fork lower kit included. FML

Doing the same to my pike, 140 to 150. Hope it's simpler as I'm not much of a mechanic

Can you just bleed it and then reassemble?

I forgot to get a bleed cup for my damper and I ended up just using the same fitting w/ a syringe without the plunger that I used on my rear shock. Much less messier than the cup.

Sold the Checkpoint ALR5 and finally brought home my new to me Checkpoint SL7.

It’s the 1x AXS 12speed wireless shifting group which is my first official bike that’s not mechanical shifting. Also full carbon including the Pro 3V wheels, handlebars and seatpost.

As mentioned in ever planned to sell the purple ALR5 but I could not pass up the smoking deal I got on this bike. It’s barely been ridden and just has a few minor chips or very small scratches but it’s a gravel bike so whatever.

Between life, work, getting injured and not
riding for almost 3 weeks I haven’t even been able to ride it yet.

I thought it would be an easy swap of my accessories but I Need to get a few little things sorted out like:

- cadence sensor doesn’t fit between crank and frame
- saddle doesn’t have mounting holes for my fancy rear garmin varia Mount like my old bike
- decided to change the Garmin out front mount so need an go pro style adapter for my Niterider lights

More important I want to put some film
Protection on some of the key areas (not custom) but I haven’t done that before need to make time to get that in place but I really want to ride it this coming weekend. I got some decent extra rolls of ridewrap from a friend going to at least try to cover up
The downtube and chainstays as best I can before the holiday weekend.

Can’t wait to get this thing rolling I haven’t done a gravel ride since September. Be curious to see how much differnt riding gravel with 1x is vs 2x. I figure long term if I don’t like it the front der mount comes standard anyway I can always change it to 2x

Also for the road bike got my Shimano warranty replacement cranks and bonus came with brand new chainrings. Only took about 2-3 weeks and In the meantime I was lucky to get a loaner crank from someone I know.

If I was being picky the color is dark black compared to the older gun metal greyish but really I don’t GAF because those other cranks had so many miles on them.

Beauty, best of luck with it!!!

I got a protection kit from Ground Keeper (what I use on all my bikes) and just trimmed as needed.

cool thanks! Let me know and we can figure out how to connect - you can just text me you should still have my #. Thanks again!

Got some Info from MRP. They were very helpful. It's nice dealing with small companies. I couldn't understand why at 140mm there was only one 10mm spacer. The fork is supposed to be up to 170mm travel.
My fork was built up as 150 with a short shaft. It was sold to Canfield for some production bikes. So it can only be 150mm or shorter. Down to 120mm.

Started adding my accessories to the new gravel bike. Thought the bell wasn’t going to fit but it actually lines up with the cable cut out positions better on this bike than my old one.

Will run the old light bar mount for now until I get the Niterider go pro adapter for the out front mount I forgot I had then it will look much less cluttered with the light underneath.

I like this way this looks so much I’m getting the same mount for my road bike compliments of one of my roadie friends.

Next up is trying out my first attempt ever at some ridewrap.
