River Grille in Chatham currently has Kane Overhead on tap instead of Carton 077xx. Haven't had Overhead since @jmanic got me a growler and I drank it in one sitting on a WFH Friday. Currently three deep, good thing the wife is driving home.

I flew from Newark yesterday ... terminal C. New TSA checkpoint went smooth...little line...(tsa pre).

Had a few beers in buffalo and Rochester but this one takes it....nice sour ale

I'm giving it a 4.5 because of the name and label!!!

beers survived yesterday, too tired to drink any


lots of choices of Chinese craft, started with a lunch flight
#1 - Zinnbach Spicy Kungfu, unique pale ale with strong infusions of Szechuan peppercorn
#2 - Shantown IPA, not too special, hotness at finish made it my least favorite of 6
#3 - Harvest IPA, lightly dank beer, but still little too hot at finish, pretty decent
#4 - Mia IPA, a bit on the sweet side but still pretty balanced, probably my favorite of 6
#5 - Bubble Labs DIPA, unrecognizable aroma which my wife thought it was laurel, abv in the high 8s
#6 - Bubble Labs Vanilla stout, reminded me of a milk stout but was over 9 abv, good but nothing special

DIPA was good to wash down a burger, good pickle and arugula but the sweet brioche was the wrong choice of bread

Is the DIPA nitro? Looks like dense foam there, others in the flight look like CO2 pours.

I drive by magnify at 2pm for every release because it's on my way home from work, and every time I see the line I just keep going today was no exception. Stopped and picked up a growler of Kane sneakbox and I'm not disappointed. Mellow for a mellow Friday evening.

Speaking of Magnify, here's their collab with Barrier. DDH is really good fresh but I have the feeling it will improve even more after a week or two. 4.1 suzs.
