In my head, I call those VT beers "Fresh NE Hops"... SOS, fiddlehead, Heady.. Looking at that style, those beers are hard to beat.
Other Half, magnify, trillium and these new brews with the hazy, juicy texture are a completely different style. I'm not saying one is better than the other, but after drinking a bunch of Focal, Heady, and second fiddle the last week, then i just had a magnify Half Batch, I wont be in a rush to go back to Vt. I'm pretty content with what we have available locally. You should send your buddy some DDH DMD or ACE. I think he would be blown away.

Nice, but at 9+%, a little heavy and malty. I like their 7-8%ers which are a little brighter.
