hey - silver lining - at least we have the president and congress aligned where a tax cut is more probable than not.
of course, christie just raised taxes on everyone here in NJ that drives, so i doubt it'll happen, but there's at least a "better" chance now.

Still, the likelihood of a Trump White House leaves a lot of uncertainty about the fate of marijuana measures in the next four years. Under Obama, federal authorities largely took a hands-off approach to state-level legalization efforts. But an incoming administration more skeptical of drug reform could easily reverse that approach.
“The prospect of Rudy Giuliani or Chris Christie as attorney general does not bode well,” the Drug Policy Alliance's Nadelmann said in an interview. “There are various ways in which a hostile White House could trip things up.”
Nadelmann pointed to the success of marijuana measures in the midst of an evident Republican wave as a sign that support for legalization now cuts deeply across party lines. And citing Trump's often contradictory statements on marijuana and drug use in the past, Nadelmann added that “Donald Trump personally could probably go any which way on this.”

At this point I think there is too much momentum, especially with it legal recreationally in CA now. Of course anything can happen, and the US just opened Pandora's Box, so who knows.

Also- it's legal in Washington DC to carry 2oz and smoke it at home... But once on federal land they can charge you...

The war on drugs is a huge money maker for the gov. taxation from use will never come close to that.
Make it all legal, disbanned the DEA and ATF

The drugs are suppose to be destroyed, incinerated, depends on location after it is no longer need for evidence. Money, cars and all other forfeitures are kept by the agency for the most part. This is where the big money is. Agencies rely on this to buy the toys they need to go get more forfeitures

If this were true, the incumbents would have been sent walking.....for the most part, they are all coming back....so fail....now we have crooked Washington and a real-estate guy that has gone bankrupt many times.....

Ha I purchased my land before it was legal , I just wanted a better place to live then jersey and Colorado was it for me , the weed was a bonus . After spending a few months out here ...
I made the correct decision , this place is perfect for folks that like to be outside & completely different vibe from dirty jersey .
